Virgin Atlantic Flying Club is the loyalty program of Virgin Atlantic, which joined the SkyTeam alliance on 2 March 2023. Members earn Virgin Points on Virgin Atlantic, joint-venture partners Delta and Air France-KLM, and SkyTeam carriers, and earn Tier Points toward Red, Silver, and Gold status.

Virgin Atlantic Flying Club is the loyalty program of Virgin Atlantic and, since 2 March 2023, the only UK member of the SkyTeam alliance. Joining SkyTeam transformed the program's reach: members can now earn and redeem Virgin Points across the alliance's network of more than a thousand destinations, on top of Virgin Atlantic's long-standing transatlantic joint venture with Delta and Air France-KLM.

The program uses Virgin Points as its spendable currency and Tier Points to drive a compact three-tier status ladder of Red, Silver, and Gold. Silver maps to SkyTeam Elite and Gold to Elite Plus, giving Virgin's own members recognition across every SkyTeam carrier. Virgin Points are widely earnable through UK credit cards and retail partners, and are prized by members for high-value redemptions on partner premium cabins.

The lesson for an enterprise operator is what alliance membership does for a mid-sized program. Virgin Atlantic operates a fraction of the fleet of the global majors, yet by joining SkyTeam it gave its members network breadth comparable to far larger carriers. For an operator whose own footprint is limited, joining an established network can deliver reach that would take decades and enormous capital to build alone, instantly making the home currency more useful.
