Emirates Skywards launched in 2000 as the frequent flyer program of Emirates, the Dubai based international airline, and today also serves as the loyalty program of sister carrier flydubai. The program enrolled 76,000 members in its first year. By September 2025 it had passed 37 million members across more than 190 countries, adding roughly 78,000 new enrollments a week.

The program currency is the Skywards Mile. Members earn Skywards Miles on Emirates and flydubai flights and through partner activity, then spend them on reward flights, cabin upgrades, and partner redemptions. Membership runs across four tiers, Blue, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, with benefits that build at each level.

Emirates describes Skywards as one of the world's most popular airline loyalty programs, and the program marked its 25th anniversary in 2025.
