Aeroméxico Rewards is the loyalty program of Aeroméxico, Mexico's flag carrier and a SkyTeam member. In April 2023 it rebranded from Club Premier, moving to a points currency that does not expire. Members earn and redeem across Aeroméxico and SkyTeam partners.

Aeroméxico Rewards is the loyalty program of Aeroméxico, Mexico's flag carrier and a member of the SkyTeam alliance. The program spent years as Club Premier, run through a separately held venture, and until 2021 used an unusual kilometer-based currency, Kilómetros Premier, rather than the miles most programs adopted. It moved to revenue-based Puntos Premier in 2022, and in April 2023 Aeroméxico rebranded the program to Aeroméxico Rewards and dropped point expiry, aligning it with mainstream design and simplifying it for members.

As a SkyTeam carrier, Aeroméxico lets members earn and redeem across partners including Delta, Air France, and KLM, and the rebrand cut redemption prices on popular domestic routes and broadened what points can buy, adding options such as baggage and seat selection.

The lesson for an enterprise operator is that legacy program mechanics can quietly hold a brand back. Club Premier's kilometer currency and separate ownership made it harder for members to compare against rival programs and harder for the airline to manage. Aeroméxico unwound that in stages, switching the currency first and rebranding a year later, and each step pulled the program closer to the airline. Operators carrying idiosyncratic legacy designs should weigh how much friction those quirks add for members who now expect the conventions set by the largest programs.
