At a glance

MyLowe's Rewards is the free loyalty program Lowe's runs for do-it-yourself shoppers, and it turns points into $5 MyLowe's Money rewards. Members earn 1 point per dollar at Bronze, 1.25 at Silver from $500 of yearly spending, and 1.5 at Gold from $2,000. Every 500 points drops $5 into the member's Wallet. Cardholders, verified military members and first responders start at Silver. Any 365-day stretch without earning erases the point balance.

Overview

MyLowe's Rewards is the program Lowe's built for homeowners and other do-it-yourself buyers, and the terms state there is no fee. Lowe's told investors it finished the national rollout in the quarter ended May 3, 2024. Creating a personal account on Lowes.com enrolls a shopper. At the register, a member scans the ID stored in the app's Wallet or types in a phone number. Purchases online count when the member is signed in.

Each member holds one of three statuses. The program page calls them Bronze, Silver and Gold, and the terms add a word: Bronze Key, Silver Key and Gold Key. Bronze covers $0 to $499 of eligible spending in a calendar year, Silver $500 to $1,999 and Gold $2,000 or more. Bronze earns 1 point per dollar, Silver 1.25 and Gold 1.5. The rates work in bands, so when one purchase crosses a line, only the part above it earns the higher rate. Spending resets to zero each January 1, and whatever status a member reaches stays in force through the following year as well. Taxes, delivery, rentals, gift cards and purchases paid with rewards do not count.

Points turn into money on their own. At 500 points, Lowe's drops $5 of MyLowe's Money into the Wallet, so Bronze returns 1% of spending, Silver 1.25% and Gold 1.5%. Each reward shows its own end date, and one with no stated date lasts 30 days. A shopper can apply up to five in one sale, and unused value left on a reward stays for a later trip within the same window. MyLowe's Money cannot pay for gift cards, Lowe's card bills, or Weber, Kichler and Miele goods. Points lapse after 365 days with no purchase or other earning. Lowe's can also close an account after two years without an eligible purchase.

Every status gets free shipping, except to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories. Orders placed by 2 p.m. also qualify for free same-day delivery, up to 300 pounds in total. Members get point boosters, member deals and free gifts from time to time. The Kids Club adds workshops for children and a free lollipop on each visit. The MyLowe's Rewards Credit Card, backed by Synchrony Bank, takes 5% off eligible purchases or offers six months with no interest on orders of $299 or more. Its purchase APR for new accounts was 31.99% as of March 7, 2024. The program FAQ also calls it the Lowe's Advantage Card. Saving the card to the Wallet moves a member up to Silver, and verified military members get Silver plus 10% off.

Business buyers use a separate program. MyLowe's Pro Rewards, which Lowe's said in December 2024 it would relaunch in early 2025 for small and mid-sized Pros, has its own statuses called Gold Pro, Platinum Pro and Titanium Pro. Its points expire every June 30 and December 31. One person can hold both accounts under two email addresses, but a Pro account cannot be turned into a personal one. In December 2024 Lowe's said it was moving the two programs onto a single currency. Lowe's also sells a paid add-on, MyLowe's Rewards HomeCare+. It buys two home visits a year with up to seven services, for homes within a 40-minute drive of a store that offers it. The current terms took effect on July 15, 2026.

Gold needs $2,000 a year of eligible spending and earns 1.5 points per dollar, half a point more than Bronze. Lowe's gives Silver at $0 of spending to cardholders, verified military members and first responders.
