MeliáRewards is the loyalty program of Meliá Hotels International, a Spanish group with a resort-heavy portfolio spanning Gran Meliá, Meliá, INNSiDE, and Sol. Members earn points on eligible spend at a rate that rises with status, from 10 points per euro at the White entry tier to 14 at Platinum, and redeem them for stays, dining, spa, member transfers, or gift cards from retailers such as Amazon. Status qualifies by stays, nights, or points, and long-tenured Platinum members can reach Platinum for Life.
The escalating earn rate is the lever worth noting. Paying more points per euro as members climb rewards concentration of spend, which matters for a leisure and resort operator competing for a share of a traveler's limited annual trips rather than frequent business stays. A guest who takes two or three vacations a year has strong incentive to route them all to Meliá to hold a higher earn rate. The operator lesson is that tier-scaled earning is a share-of-wallet instrument. Where visit frequency is naturally low, making each additional stay worth progressively more is how a resort brand wins concentration.
