At a glance
My Sheetz Rewardz is the free loyalty program of Sheetz, the Altoona, Pennsylvania, convenience chain with more than 830 stores in seven states. Members earn 5 spendable pointz per $1 on qualifying store and online purchases, while fuel earns none. Registered members get 3 cents off every gallon. Yearly Pointz set the level: Fan from 0 to 999, Friend at 1,000 and Freak at 2,500. Pointz buy free items or fuel savings in the app, and they expire at the end of the same month a year later.
Program facts
Overview
My Sheetz Rewardz is the loyalty program of Sheetz, Inc., the family-owned chain that Bob Sheetz founded in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in 1952. Sheetz runs more than 830 stores across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland and Michigan, all open around the clock. In April 2026 it said it would enter Indiana, with the first Indianapolis-area stores due the next year. The program is free. Members use the Sheetz app, the website or a plastic My Sheetz Rewardz Card. The card also comes in a keychain size that pumps can scan.
Members earn 5 spendable pointz for every $1 on qualifying purchases in the store and online. Fuel earns no pointz. Alcohol, cigarettes and other tobacco, half-gallon and gallon milk, lottery, car washes and gift cards are left out as well. Bonus pointz events add more from time to time. Spendable pointz expire at the end of the month in which they were earned, one year later. Pointz earned on July 7, 2025, for example, expired on July 31, 2026. Sheetz says the rule keeps balances from sitting unused forever.
A second count, called Yearly Pointz, sets the member's level. Fan runs from 0 to 999 Yearly Pointz. Friend starts at 1,000, and Freak starts at 2,500. If Yearly Pointz build at the same 5 per dollar, which Sheetz does not spell out, Friend takes $200 of store spending and Freak takes $500. Every level gets the daily fuel discount, custom Rewardz in the app, birthday offerz and exclusive offerz. Double pointz events are open to all levels too. On the published chart, Friend adds surprise freebies. Freak then adds exclusive Sheetz shwag. The page also promises deeper discountz as members climb.
Members spend pointz by choosing Rewardz from a list in the app or on the website. In the store, pointz can pay for a fountain drink or a self-serve Sheetz Bros. Coffeez drink. Select Shweetz bakery items qualify too. Pointz can also turn into fuel savings rewards on top of the daily discount. That discount is 3 cents off per gallon, and it starts 24 hours after a member validates an email address. Drivers of diesel trucks and electric cars get their own perks in the app.
First National Bank of Omaha issues the Sheetz Visa. It takes 7 cents off per gallon at Sheetz pumps, so a registered member who pays with the card saves 10 cents a gallon. New accounts opened through the Sheetz offer page get another 20 cents a gallon as a statement credit for the first 30 days. The Visa and the Rewardz card can both be used in the same transaction. The card pays 5% cash back on Sheetz store purchases and 1% on other spending, except fuel and purchases at other gas stations. The current pointz design replaced an older club program that counted credits toward free items. Sheetz says it made the switch because customers most often asked to earn on every purchase. It loaded any free items already earned onto cards and turned leftover credits into pointz.
The level thresholds are modest for a store people visit often. If Yearly Pointz build at 5 per dollar, Freak needs $500 of inside spending, a little under $10 a week. Fuel earns no pointz, and every level gets the same 3 cents off at the pump.
