At a glance

Latitudes Rewards is the loyalty program of Norwegian Cruise Line, and guests 18 or older are enrolled within 48 hours of a first NCL cruise. Each cruise night earns 1 point, and a full-fare suite, The Haven or an Insider Offer sailing adds 1 more a night. Seven tiers run from Bronze at 1 point through Silver (20), Gold (45), Platinum (75), Sapphire (150) and Diamond (350) to Ambassador at 700. Points only build status, and tiers can be honored on Oceania and Regent.

Overview

Latitudes Rewards counts nights. Guests 18 or older are enrolled within 48 hours of finishing a first Norwegian Cruise Line sailing. A member then earns 1 point for each night on a completed NCL cruise. A suite or The Haven adds 1 more point a night. That bonus needs a full-fare suite booked when the reservation was first made, and Club Balcony Suites do not qualify. An Insider Offer, a select sailing emailed to members each month, also adds 1 point a night. It does not stack with the suite bonus, so the published rates top out at 2 points a night. Points post within 48 hours of the end of a cruise, and missing points can be claimed only for cruises in the past 12 months. Points cannot be moved between guests. Nights on Oceania Cruises or Regent Seven Seas Cruises earn nothing here.

Points exist to set the tier, and NCL lists nothing to redeem them for. The ladder has seven steps: Bronze at 1 point, Silver at 20, Gold at 45, Platinum at 75, Sapphire at 150, Diamond at 350 and Ambassador at 700. Tier benefits apply on sailings of 5 nights or more, while tier discounts apply on every sailing. Bronze gets key card recognition, a tier pin, free art for attending an art auction and 10% off Norwegian logo goods. Silver adds 10% off shore excursions, 20% off photos, 15% off a spa treatment taken in port and a members' cocktail party. Gold adds priority tender tickets, half off one bag of laundry and a bottle of water. Gold members who are U.S. citizens also get priority disembarkation. Perks given per cabin, such as dinners, follow the highest tier in the room.

Platinum brings priority check-in, one free bag of laundry, 15% off Wi-Fi, chocolate-covered strawberries, a wine tasting and a tour behind the scenes. Each Platinum cabin also gets two specialty dinners for two, one of them with a bottle of wine. Dining can be booked 125 days ahead. Sapphire adds priority seats at restaurants and shows, a dinner with officers, 20% off Wi-Fi and 15% off excursions. Diamond adds a mixology event, 25% off Wi-Fi and a one-time upgrade of one cabin category, up to Club Balcony. It has to be booked within a year of reaching Diamond. Ambassador's grid drops that upgrade and adds one free 7-day balcony cruise for two. It also brings 20% off excursions, dining bookings at 130 days, a gift and a pin with the member's name. Taxes, fees and port costs on that cruise are extra, and holiday sailings are excluded.

On September 29, 2025, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings launched a Loyalty Status Honoring Program across its three lines. From sailings on October 15, 2025, a member can ask at least 10 days ahead to have a tier honored on Oceania Cruises or Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The match covers one cruise. Points stay with the line sailed, and milestone perks such as the free cruise are left out. A chart revised on March 16, 2026 sets the matches. Sapphire now maps to Platinum in both Oceania Club and Seven Seas Society. Diamond maps to Diamond on Oceania and Titanium on Regent, and Ambassador gets those same two tiers. Under the 2025 chart, Ambassador had mapped to President's Circle and Commodore. Caesars Entertainment also makes offers to every tier, and Caesars Rewards members get up to 30% off NCL cruises.

Membership is automatic, and NCL publishes no paid tier. Holders of the Norwegian Cruise Line World Mastercard get their own gala on the 2026 members' cruise. That is the fourth annual Latitudes Cruise, from December 6 to 13, 2026, on Norwegian Aqua out of Miami. Members also got early access to NCL's first Semi-Annual Sale on July 8 and 9, 2026. The benefit terms were last updated on April 1, 2026. When NCL revamped the program on February 3, 2017, it added Platinum Plus at 175 points and Ambassador at 700. Platinum Plus has since gone, and Sapphire and Diamond now sit between Platinum and the top tier.

Status here rests on nights sailed, so spending on board never moves a member up. The suite and Insider Offer bonuses double the pace at most. Ambassador at 700 points means 100 seven-night cruises in a standard cabin, or 50 in a suite. Most of the value sits in discounts that pay out as members buy tours, photos, spa time and Wi-Fi. The large gifts come once, as the Diamond upgrade and the Ambassador cruise, and both are left out of status honoring. The 2026 chart moved NCL's top tiers down on Regent, and NCL said the change better aligns the different ways the three programs are earned.
