Program facts
Overview
Captain's Club is run by Celebrity Cruises Inc., part of Royal Caribbean Group, under terms dated May 28, 2026. Joining is free, and guests are enrolled once they finish a first sailing. Members earn Club Points per night, and the rate climbs with the cabin. An inside or ocean view cabin earns 2 a night and a veranda earns 3. Concierge Class and AquaClass earn 5. Sky and Panoramic suites earn 8, the Celebrity, Signature and Royal suites 12, and Edge Villas, Penthouses and Reflection Suites 18. The Iconic Suite earns 24. Galapagos and river trips pay 8 to 18 a night. Solo guests who pay the single fare earn double. A MoveUp bid earns nothing extra, because Club Points track the fare paid. Travel agent and staff fares earn none. Earned points do not expire.
Celebrity also pays for two things that are not nights at sea. A cabin that opts into Go Green, with less housekeeping, earns one extra night of points for each member in it. Power Up Points come from surveys, webinars and bookings in select countries, and 10 of them make 1 Club Point. Neither bonus can move to a sister brand. A spouse or partner can link accounts, and both then use the higher point balance and tier. Only two accounts can link per household.
Preview starts at 0 points, Classic at 2, Select at 150, Elite at 300, Elite Plus at 750 and Zenith at 3,000. From Classic up, a member can ask for a one-category cabin upgrade at booking through Celebrity or an agent, when space allows. Spa discounts run from 10% at Classic and Select to 15% at Elite and Elite Plus and 20% at Zenith. Elite adds a cocktail hour and free laundry. Elite Plus adds specialty dining discounts and two free bags of laundry. Zenith brings Retreat Lounge access, free premium Wi-Fi on one device and a free Premium drink package.
Zenith is also where free cruises start. At 3,000 points a member gets one veranda cabin on a select 7-night Caribbean or Bermuda cruise. At 6,000 it is an AquaClass cabin, and at 9,000 and each 3,000 after it is a Sky Suite. Taxes, fees and tips are extra. Each award must be used within a year. On May 28, 2026, Celebrity told members about new milestones at 1,500, 2,250, 3,000, 6,000 and 9,000 points, live on sailings from June 11, 2026. They add premium Wi-Fi minutes, up to 35% off specialty dining and free photos. From 6,000 points they add a specialty lunch on every sailing.
Since May 30, 2024, tiers have matched one for one across the group's three lines. Classic pairs with Gold at Royal Caribbean, Select with Platinum, Elite with Diamond, Elite Plus with Diamond Plus and Zenith with Pinnacle Club. Matched status leaves out the perks tied to earned points, such as Zenith cruises, Zenith Lunch and milestones. Points Choice opened for sailings from January 30, 2026. A veranda night on Celebrity moves to Royal Caribbean as 1 point, and a night in Concierge Class or above as 2. Zenith members get priority bookings at two Daniel Boulud restaurants, and members also get an MGM Resorts tier match. Celebrity Visa cards convert to the Royal ONE Visa from Bank of America. It comes in a $0 version and a $99 Plus version.
Celebrity and Azamara points stopped crossing over on February 24, 2023. Casino paid upgrades began earning at the upgraded cabin on July 23, 2024. Zenith Lunch began on sailings from February 21, 2026, and a Double Points sale ran from September 8 to 21, 2026. The cabin scale is the core design choice. An Iconic Suite night earns 12 times an inside night, so Zenith takes 1,500 inside nights but 125 nights in that suite. Status here tracks cabin spend more than time at sea. Go Green shows a second trade, as Celebrity pays points to guests who ask for less service. And since points never lapse, the milestones past Zenith give the top tier a reason to keep sailing.
