Overview

Castaway Club is the loyalty program of Disney Cruise Line, and it has no points. A guest joins by finishing one eligible Disney cruise. The tier then depends only on how many eligible cruises the guest has completed. Silver comes after 1 cruise, Gold after 5, Platinum after 10 and Pearl after 25. Fares sold to media, vendors and Cast Members on business do not count. Members do not collect or spend anything, and the perks come with the tier. To stay in the club, a member must book or sail an eligible cruise within 5 years of the last one.

Most of the perks are early access. For new itineraries, Silver members can book at least 1 day before the public, Gold 2 days, Platinum 3 and Pearl 4. Disney released its Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 sailings on August 25, 2026. Pearl members could book from August 31, Platinum from September 1, Gold from September 2 and Silver from September 3. The public waited until September 8. Once a cruise is paid in full, members can also book Palo, port tours, the spa and other paid extras early. The window opens 75 days out for first-time guests, 90 for Silver, 105 for Gold, 120 for Platinum and 123 for Pearl. Online check-in, where guests pick a port arrival time, opens 30 days out as standard and 33 to 40 days out for members.

Every tier gets a members' check-in area at the terminal where there is one, a members' phone line and a Welcome Back Aboard gift, one per cabin. Gold adds a private reception on voyages of 8 nights or more and member discounts on board. Platinum adds one free dinner at Palo, Palo Steakhouse or Palo Trattoria per cabin on each sailing. The member must be at the table. Pearl adds an automatic place in Boarding Group 2 and a free Unlimited Digital Photo Package. Everyone in a cabin gets the perks of the highest-tier member in it. Members with 50 or more sailings can also have their family name shown at Disney Castaway Cay. It is a limited offer, with one display per household.

The Castaway Club page lists no points, fees, card or partner programs. Its only outside link is that eligible Disney Vacation Club members and Adventures by Disney Adventure Insiders book new sailings on the same day as Silver. MSC Cruises does accept Disney Cruise Line status in its own status match. The ladder now sits on a larger fleet. Disney's 2025 annual report listed six ships, and its quarterly report for the period ended June 27, 2026 says the Disney Destiny launched in November 2025 and the Disney Adventure in March 2026. The Disney Adventure sails in Southeast Asia, and the 2027 and 2028 booking times were posted in both U.S. Eastern and Singapore time. The 2025 annual report plans four more ships from 2027 to 2031.

The club pays members in time. Its perks are places in line for scarce things such as Palo tables, port tours and arrival slots. Counting cruises in place of nights means a 3-night cruise moves a guest as far as a 14-night voyage, so short sailings are the fastest route up. The 5-year rule is the only decay, so a family that sails once every few years keeps its tier. The steps at the top are small. Pearl books activities 3 days ahead of Platinum, and Concierge-level guests can book by phone at 130 days. A Concierge fare still beats 25 sailings in the activity queue, which leaves the front of the line partly for sale.
