Tata Starbucks revamped its Starbucks Rewards program in India in June 2026, adding a Reserve membership tier above the existing Green and Gold levels. Members earn one Star for every 10 rupees spent at the base level. Gold members, who reach the tier at 1,000 Stars a year, earn 1.2 times the standard rate, and Reserve members, at more than 5,000 Stars a year, earn 1.3 times the rate. The Reserve tier includes a personalized black membership card showing the member’s name and the year they joined. The reworked program offers faster earning, lower redemption thresholds, and benefits including birthday rewards, milestone rewards, Double Stars days and free customizations on Mondays. Tata Starbucks chief operating officer Adrit Mishra said the program was “designed to offer customers easier access to rewards.” Global coffee chains are adding premium tiers to reward and retain their highest-spending members.
