SONIC launched SONIC Rewards, a new loyalty program available nationwide through the SONIC app, on April 6, 2026. Members earn 10 points per dollar spent on qualifying purchases and can earn faster as they move through three tiers: Member, Star and Legend. Star members, reached at 10 or more visits a year, earn 11 points per dollar, and Legend members, at 30 or more visits, earn 12 points per dollar. New members receive a welcome reward, a choice of medium fries, tots or a drink, and an annual birthday reward of a corn dog or small shake. The program brings points, tiers and personalized deals to the SONIC app. “We built SONIC Rewards around one simple idea: every visit should feel like a win,” said Ryan Dickerson, chief marketing officer of SONIC. Quick-service chains continue moving from blanket app discounts to tiered points programs that reward frequency.
