Alaska Airlines and Philippine Airlines signed a frequent flier agreement in May 2025. Alaska had told its members that Philippine Airlines flights would become available for redemption in the coming months. Philippine Airlines awards can now be booked on Alaska’s website. Availability has appeared for routes such as Hong Kong to Bangkok. Alaska maintains three tiers of partners. These include Oneworld members, partners where members can both earn and redeem miles, and a third group with more complex rules. The full rollout took 15 months or longer. Some award prices on the new partnership appear inconsistent. The program may still offer value for short-haul flights to and from Manila. Members are advised to compare pricing with the Qatar Airways partnership as well. Airline partnerships continue to expand redemption options for frequent flyers.
