Etihad Airways and Fastjet Zimbabwe signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 7 July 2026 in Harare for an interline, codeshare and frequent flyer partnership. The agreement enables single-ticket travel from Etihad flights to Fastjet destinations including Bulawayo, Victoria Falls and Johannesburg. Sales under the partnership begin 24 August 2026. Etihad Guest members will earn and redeem miles on Fastjet Zimbabwe services once the loyalty elements launch. Fastjet Zimbabwe becomes the 32nd airline partner in the Etihad Guest program. The deal also supports connections from Fastjet flights onto Etihad services to Abu Dhabi and onward points across the Middle East, Asia and Europe. Arik De, Etihad Airways Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, said Africa is an important part of Etihad growth and partnerships like this extend reach across the continent. Such codeshare and loyalty ties between carriers commonly increase passenger options on routes linking regional networks to long-haul hubs.
