Edmonton International Airport launched YEGplus in May 2026, describing it as Canada’s first airport loyalty program. The free program lets travelers earn points on airport spending across three tiers, Essential, Silver and Gold. Members earn points by booking YEG Parking or jetSet Parking, buying from participating terminal vendors, completing surveys and quizzes, and referring others. Points can be redeemed for parking upgrades, contest entries and promo cards through a member-only portal. The program replaces the airport’s earlier email-based YEG rewards and jetSet rewards newsletters. “This programme is our way of recognising the travellers who choose to fly through our airport,” said Carmen Donnelly, vice president of passenger experience and terminal operations. Airports are building direct loyalty relationships with passengers to capture parking, retail and dining revenue that traditionally sits with airlines and concessionaires.
