Alaska Air Group and Bank of America extended their co-branded credit card partnership on April 20, 2026, a relationship the bank describes as its largest co-brand agreement and one spanning more than 30 years. Under the multi-year extension, the two companies are working toward Bank of America becoming the single issuer of all Atmos Rewards co-branded cards, and the agreement increases investment in the Atmos Rewards brand, Alaska and Hawaiian’s lounge program, and the card suite. The current lineup includes the Summit Visa Infinite and Ascent Visa Signature cards, the latter carrying Alaska’s $99 Companion Fare plus taxes and fees. Alaska chief executive Ben Minicucci said Bank of America “has been a foundational partner to Alaska’s growth.” Alaska has said its co-brand card portfolio remuneration grew 10 percent in 2025. The renewal underscores how airlines lean on card-issuer partnerships, which convert loyalty currencies into a durable revenue stream tied to member card spending.
