Aeroplan and Club Avolta introduced a North American loyalty partnership on June 30, 2026, letting Air Canada’s members earn points on airport and travel retail spending. Members who link their Aeroplan and Club Avolta accounts through the Club Avolta app earn one Aeroplan point for every C$2 spent on eligible purchases at more than 900 Avolta locations, including Hudson and Dufry stores and the Reserve and Collect pre-order service. The companies said participation will expand to nearly 1,900 outlets across North America once HMSHost dining locations join later in 2026. “Travel starts well before the boarding gate, and we want to make more of it rewarding for our members,” said Scott O’Leary, vice president of loyalty and product at Air Canada. Aeroplan counts more than 10 million active members worldwide. Airline programs increasingly extend earning into airport retail and dining to capture member spending beyond the flight itself.
